Our founder, Heather, began her professional career as a licensed nurse in Central New York, gaining valuable insights from some of the region's top doctors and nurses. Her background in healthcare serves as a foundation for her perspective as an esthetician and skincare professional. Specializing in treatments that yield real results and contribute to achieving personal skincare goals, Heather founded the office with a dedication to simplifying skincare.
Heather's journey into skincare began when she faced her own struggles with adult acne, exacerbated by using products labeled "for acne." Frustrated by the confusion in the skincare industry, she committed herself to learning and sharing that knowledge. Now, at The Skin Bar, our estheticians bring their own unique experience and expertise to offer a complete range of services.
While The Skin Bar provides a comprehensive array of treatments, we are particularly passionate about preventative aging, addressing stressed and sensitized skin, handling acne, managing pigment issues, and creating customized homecare regimens. Our goal is to work collaboratively with our clients to develop a plan that leaves them feeling their absolute best.

Meet Elena, our in-office acne expert, whose journey into esthetics began after receiving her bachelor's in public health from Syracuse University in 2020. Elena's dedication to skincare goes hand in hand with her passion for addressing acne concerns. Beyond her specialized expertise, she takes pride in offering indulgent facials enhanced with soothing massage techniques, creating a holistic and rejuvenating experience for our clients. Elena’s skillful touch combined with her commitment to clear, healthy skin will bring you a skincare experience like no other.

Kelly combines her passion for skincare with her extensive background in operations and customer service. Prior to joining The Skin Bar, Kelly served as Director of Operations for an engineering firm, where she improved efficiency, implemented key policies, managed accounts, led marketing efforts, and oversaw HR functions.
A longtime skincare enthusiast, Kelly’s interest in beauty began in college, where she worked at a makeup counter and developed a love for products and for helping others feel amazing. She is always eager to share her knowledge and discuss the latest skincare products, ensuring clients receive expert guidance and personalized care. Kelly is thrilled to be part of The Skin Bar team and is passionate about helping clients fall in love with their skin.
